Title: Family Law Associate Attorney

Location: New York, NY

Salary: $150,000 - 200,000, Annually Depending on Experience

The right candidate will have strong initiative and a passion for a strategic path to resolution, whether through negotiation, litigation or alternative dispute resolution.

We seek a Family Law Associate Attorney who is a self-starter with an outstanding work ethic and positive attitude, with experience working on complex matrimonial and family law matters preferred.

Responsibilities to Include:

• Managing a caseload and supervising support staff, mentoring junior attorneys
• Preparing for and attending in-person and virtual meetings and court appearances
• Conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Drafting agreements

Required Experience & Skills:

• A JD degree or LLM degree from an ABA-accredited law school and admitted in NY
• 4+ years of family law litigation experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with interstate/cross-border matters
• Litigation experience that includes taking/defending depositions, oral argument and conducting trial examination
• An existing book of business or desire to develop one
