Job Description

Omni PGA Frisco Resort is now hiring a Director of Spa to oversee 20 private treatment rooms, men's & women's relaxation lounges, a cafe, and a private pool. This spa provides the perfect combination of pampering and tranquility.

The Director of Spa will be responsible for the overall operational management of the spa and will demonstrate leadership throughout the spa and resort to maximize guest and team satisfaction. This role is responsible for all spa policies and procedures and has direct supervision of the Spa Manager, Nail Technicians, Massage Therapists, Estheticians, Hair Stylists, and Spa Concierge.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and monitor the budget; manage expenses within the approved budget constraints for the entire Spa.
  • Manage the Spa team and develop relationships with all guests and vendors.
  • Create, maintain, and oversee a marketable and profitable Spa while meeting/exceeding financial goals.
  • Supervise the Spa Manager, therapists, and technicians.
  • Create and promote special promotions and events.
  • Promote local day guest business through gift cards, special occasion celebrations, and holiday events.
  • Assist in promoting and marketing the Spa to hotel guests.
  • Provide personal attention to guests.
  • Administer policies and procedures.
  • Stay current with industry trends and adjust or create new trends accordingly.
  • Attend product knowledge trainings.

Qualifications

  • Degree or professional credentials in spa services, massage therapy, or cosmetology preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years spa management experience in an upscale hotel or resort strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Familiarity with Resort Suite.
  • Skills necessary to oversee departments both technically and from a hospitality, motivation, and long-term planning perspective.
  • Organizational skills to schedule various groups using the Spa.
  • Proficiency in sales, public relations, and marketing strategies.
  • Business skills in management and budgeting.
  • Possession or ability to acquire TABC and Food Handler's certificates.
  • Strong listening, communication, and assessment skills.
  • Goal and result-oriented with problem-solving abilities.
  • Sincere desire and ability to work well with people, assess needs, and provide assistance.
  • Working knowledge of Excel and Word; SpaSoft experience preferred.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
