Job Title: Designer – Outerwear & Sweaters

Location: San Francisco, CA

Contract Duration: 2 months with possible extension

Pay Rate (W2): $50 - $60/hr

Key Responsibilities:

• Sketch Development:
• Create and refine technical and conceptual sketches for seasonal outerwear and sweater designs in alignment with brand aesthetics and trend direction.
• BOM (Bill of Materials) Creation:
• Build and update BOMs in the PLM system, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all design specifications.
• Tech Pack Development:
• Prepare detailed Tech Packs including technical drawings, construction details, fabric/trims, and colorways for vendor handoff.
• Sundry Briefs:
• Develop Sundry Briefs outlining trims, labels, hardware, and other non-fabric components used in designs.
• Cross-functional Collaboration:
• Partner with Product Development, Merchandising, and Technical Design teams to support product accuracy and meet calendar deadlines.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in apparel design, with a strong portfolio in outerwear and/or sweaters.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator , Photoshop, and PLM systems (e.g., FlexPLM or similar).
• Understanding of garment construction, fabric, trims, and wash techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple styles simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience designing for a global lifestyle or denim brand.
• Knowledge of sustainable materials and design practices is a plus.
